7 months!!!! Im back:)

Hello everyone,
I have missed everyone here. Im friends with a few of you on fb but took a break from this forum. I found it triggered me to read and write about my ex so much. I have spent the last 7 months fixing my life basically.
I feel like I am stronger and can join in discussions to help others without self destructing.
Thank you Hunter for helping me reset my password more than once. I had completely forgot my login and password with my hiatus:/
A little past history is that I am happily married with children and my ex found me almost 3 yrs ago. It has been a very emotional time for me and nearly cost me my marriage.
Between my exes mind games, guilt trips and silent treatments I was a complete mess.
I finally pulled my crap together during the last silent treatment that lasted 4 months. Wouldnt you know it right when I was over him he came back. He started talking to me again last Dec. This time I was wise to his cycles and his abuse that I kept my guard up. Not getting drunk helped soooo much, and I highly recommend not drinking while getting over a narc. Your guard comes down and they get you by the balls so to speak. Anyhow we now have a good relationship that feels healthy and good. Honestly this is where I always hoped to move to. But before he wasnt happy unless he was fucking with my head and life. Now its different!
We keep in touch and its been nearly 9 months with no games or silent treatment. With the one thing that changed was me and my response to him.
Anyhow, Im back and I hope to help others that are struggling the way I was for over 2 yrs because honestly it was the worse 2 yrs if my life. I never want to feel like that again. And I hope to help others process and move on quicker than I did.
