3 faces of Narcissist's fake persona

Was your N ever curled up in the corner and crying, or just crying as a little kid, while accusing you of destroying your life or just feeling depressed and hopeless etc.?
I think I read in Vaknin's writings that if Narcissist's true self "comes out" , it would act like that [he says true self is 6 years old, I am not sure if he is right].
I am not sure now if Vaknin said that or if I read it somewhere else but My ex-N, did this once, and he was doing it for hours.
Back then I didn't know much about it but I did figure out that he might be an N by that time.
So he literally curled up in the corner like little 5 year old [he was 36 at the time} and cried and kept accusing me how I destroyed his life, how I never do what he asked me to do, and accusing me of a lot of other stuff,it lasted for 2,3 hours.
I thought that this is his true [little kid] self which came out [because I learned about narcissism from Vaknin first, it was the first thing I found on the internet and read everything.
Then while that was going on, I turned my head a few times not looking directly at him and turned back and a few times I caught him looking at me totally normally even with a smile on his face, watching my reaction when I wasn't looking. He was acting !!! It wasn't really, he was performing and watching my reactions secretly!! I thought he was genuinely hurt even though wrong about everything while I was trying to convince him that I love him - he was accusing me "You didn't want to do what I asked you to do therefore you don't love me", then he kept crying and crying, and I kept explaining how I couldn't do it, I have kids at home I can't leave them alone, and how I do love him etc etc.
So 3 faces of Narcissist's false self - not 2 as Vaknin says...that little kid is also fake, its performance.
