did your narc have a song or songs for you????

My N would burn me CD's filled with love songs and seductive lyrics. I would get a new one every few weeks... it was to the point that I couldn't turn on the radio or go anywhere without being flooded with memories and feelings because of the music. I later learned that she did this to everyone she was trying to seduce. Clever way to make sure I was always thinking about her.

My ex-Narc and I have been listening to the beatles together for over a decade. It's been over two years since we broke up and I still can't listen to them. If a song comes on it makes me feel sick.

I didn't really like that he spent so much time on the social networking site because he essentially dedicated his page to how lucky he was to be in love. It made me feel like if he could be so overly elated about how great I made him feel...what would his page say when we had problems... Boy did I find out. Though he'd never say a word to me about things bothering him, I'd go to his myspace page and listen to the lyrics of whatever song was playing...and that's how I'd find out we had a problem. I didn't know it at the time, but this was apparently his cowardly way of 'speaking his mind', by playing mind games!
