Me, Myself and I

Speaking of this phrase, my EXNH used to do the following to me all the time: Him: "Went to a movie today with a couple people." Me: "Yeah, who?" Him: "Oh, me, myself and I!" Insert loud manic laugh here. He loved to trip me up on this one whenever he could. After awhile, I started catching on, but he did enjoy himself for quite a bit with this one. He just thought he was hilarious!

Cracking up!

Thank you all so much! I hate that I am "ok" -not emotional or crying or anything, but that he creeps into my head. That part sucks!

Good Luck with the new job!

Hello Amy, 'Just wanted to say all the best to you on your venture into a new job tomorrow! Try hard to focus on this as a great new opportunity for you as it is something that he has and never will have (I'm assuming) a part of you with, so maybe a fresh page to start with? I hope so! I DO know what you're feeling right now, I believe, as I'm struggling with the thoughts creeping in, also. The thought-blocking/distracting is exhausting, to say the least, but I have to believe that it is the best thing to keep at it and celebrate the times that you find yourself NOT thinking about him. - Chris
