Valentine's Day Gift

Valentine’s Day means different things to different people.  Some dismiss it is as nothing more than a Hallmark holiday while others have grand expectations of what their loved ones should do to express their love on the fourteenth of February.

Either way you choose to look at it, I’d like to give you an opportunity to share the gift that keeps on giving with your loved ones…..knowledge.  Knowledge is power as we always say.  I’ve been writing about narcissism for close to ten years now and what never ceases to amaze me is the lack of knowledge out there on this topic.

Awareness of narcissism has certainly increased in the last decade, but I continue to get messages from people telling me they had no idea what or who they were dealing with until they came across the true meaning of narcissism.  When they did, it was such an enormous aha moment for them, that it changed their life.

Of course, I had this experience in 2002 when I asked my then-husband why he seemed to be so miserable, disconnected and hostile towards me.  His response was that he told me he was a narcissist from day one and nothing had changed.  It was at that moment that I FINALLY looked into how narcissism manifests itself in a relationship and it truly changed the direction of my life forever.

Valentine’s Day seems to be the perfect time of year to pass along knowledge to those we care about.  We never know who may be suffering in a relationship with a narcissist and in today’s modern age, I am fairly confident that almost everyone knows a narcissist.  We all know someone who could benefit from understanding what makes a narcissist tick and why they do the things they do.

We cannot control people in our lives, but the knowledge that we can control the way in which we respond is critical when dealing with a narcissist. It is for this reason, I am having a Kindle Countdown for Valentine's Day this week where "Surviving the Female Narcissist" will be free for three days and "Surviving the Narcissist" will be discounted for the entire week. Please note these are for Kindle books only so be sure to click on the "Kindle" version of my books when you're in Amazon in order to see the free or discounted price. Below is the detail:

"Surviving the Female Narcissist - It's All About Her" will be available to download for free on February 13th, 14th and 15th on Amazon.

"Surviving the Narcissist - The Path Forward" will be available on a Kindle Countdown deal, starting at .99 cents on Monday, February 13th with the price slightly increasing every day until it is back to its regular price ($9.99) on February 20th.

Please consider passing this information along to your family and friends as you never know who may need it. Unfortunately, it appears narcissism is a sign of our times and is not going anywhere anytime soon.  Therefore, learning how to deal with this growing epidemic is more important than ever.  I hope offering my books for free and at a discount will contribute to building awareness on narcissism and provide a path forward for those still in the dark.
