Say YES to the holidays!

Just last week as I pulled out the Christmas decorations, it occurred to me that everything I want to do for the holiday season this year is "Yes!" "Yes!" and "YES!"

No more listening to negative responses from him to my suggestions re: gifts or get-togethers or anything else to do with the season.

No more holding back.

And with this newly-realized freedom, my first Christmas without him in 43 years, I am having an absolute BALL planning unique and fun and out-of-the-ordinary yet simple activities and gifts for my family and friends and a charity or two that I support!

And guess what? Every single one of my ideas is just WONDERFUL!

Last year at Christmas, I was only about two weeks out from his rage during which I left for good, so I was a little shell-shocked. I made myself go about things as usual and the best I could.

But not this year, baby! :)
