Because my STBXHN has chosen my niece as his OW it makes the family unit a little bit uncomfortable.

My sister and her husband have an involved life that includes overseeing a group that participates in public events and weekly meetings. Because OW is a part of this now STBXHN is as well.

I don't care what he does, I don't care what my niece does.

What is bothering me is my sister allowing this. N is being accepted as a part of their family unit.

Perhaps I am projecting my anger at STBXHN onto my sister? I want to avoid her. She has not been able to provide any support to me through this since it is her daughter and she may feel she'd have to choose a side if she were involved. I guess I feel she has now chosen.
