What to do...
What to do...
Good moments and bad moments, like I said earlier.
I don't know what to do during the worst moments
I try breathing
I try to sit with whatever I'm feeling, usually terror and anxiety.
I have a 13 year old here. I need to be available for her and sometimes I feel I can't
I cannot eat and I'm already very thin
I can't think clearly
I can't address the things that need to be done
I was a stay at home mom and now because of the divorce ill be working
It's all new and produces anxiety
My son 18 lives I'm a sober living facility and he's struggling and we are using tough love
My husband has manipulated the kids around my divorce
I feel SO alone
I look forward to the evening when I can take my anxiety pills and the sensations will lessen.
I ordered Lisa's books
I read this forum over and over
I went to the psychiatrist last week to get OFF Ativan. Instead he put me on antidepressants. I briefly told him about the N. not knowing at that moment there was a term for him. The psych looked up at me and said, you're codependent, he's a narcissist, you don't really love him you depend on him. I left the room and immediately looked up the definition of narcissist beyond self love which is all I ever knew of it. I'm so grateful to him because I could have been trapped much longer
But, what are things I can do in an intense moment of fear and anxiety and sadness and regret?
What has helped anyone here in this very beginning stage of recovery?
I'm off to read more on the blogs...
