First date

Hi,

I went on my first date since the ExN.

I had a fantastic time, good food & good company.

But now my head is worrying about all the what ifs.....

He was a complete gentleman, paid for everything.
Was open and we talked about lots of things.

It was easy and fun. And no red flags or funny gut feelings.

But how do I know If it was all fake?

Can a N mirror on the itsy date if they haven't done any ground work on figuring out what u like?

I'm so scared of meeting another N.
And I feel bad because maybe this guy is a genuine nice guy and I've already put him in the category of arsehole. Which isn't fair.

The topic of past relationships came up and I just said my ex became a completely different person, I didn't know what else to say?

Any advice? I'd like to see this guy again but I'm torn between being too cautious and not actually giving it a fair go and starting things on a negative note...
