I am pretty sure my N isn't aware enough of his own thoughts or feelings to come clean that he never had my best interests at heart. I think he has fooled even himself. As far as validating that I meant anything to him - I didn't. So it would be more like validating that he never actually had any love for me, and he thinks he's Mr. Love so he would never admit that.

The only coming clean to be seen is if they know that they'll have to ACT like they're coming clean to keep their supply. It's all a game to them....(I LOVED that analogy of a video game by the way).
We mean as much to them as their class B toys. My ex N loved his favorte surf board (one of his class A toys)more than he loved me. I was more like the one of the ones resting in their surfboard bags that were waiting to become his favorite again. What a joke that relationship was. I didn't even SEE it for so long, I was completely blind to the truth.
