commitment phobes??

So I've always heard they are afraid of commitment...mine was 37 and never married string of failed relationships and had cheated on his ex fiance and always had threesomes with her....do they know they are commitment phobic when they want you to move in with them and declare their everlasting love for you/? Weird.
