'sidekick'

Toad has a sidekick, that he treats better than anyone else. This bloke is 17 years his junior, and a raging alcoholic and 'puffhead'. They see each other every day, cook for each other alternate days, and toad treats him well. when he used to spend a weekend with me, he would 'check in' with sidekick every day. This guy has always been respectful to me, and i guess is an ok type of bloke, who i think, is a bit afraid of toad. If you see them together the are like an old married couple! At one point i actually thought they we more than just mates, and i used to rib toad about it...he didnt even get annoyed at that, just laughed!!This guy, has ALL toad's mannerisms, runs around for him like a puppy, and seems to look up to toad like he's some sort of superior being!! I understand now that it's all supply and control, but i've always been curious as to why he gets better treatment than anyone else! Its very odd!
Anyone else's narc have a bessy mate like that?
