His "friend" he calls her, O'love'ia
The kids did tell their stories at breakfast, just as I thought! they are most talkative at breakfast and I listened as they excitedly told me about their evening with Dad, which included dinner at their fav place Red Robin for burgers. They said 'Dad calls her O'love'ia, isn't that funny mommy?"
oh, it's so funny. Would never reveal to them my true feelings. I was relieved that she was introduced as a friend and not more. I guess in time...
So they re-told their evening and not much more to tell , I didn't ask for details or try to get info out of them, that is unfair. They went to a movie and talked about the movie they didn't have much more to say but they laughed at their Daddy and they repeated 'O'love'ia' laughing to each other. My youngest was oblivious to this info.
I am working on my acceptance of what I can't change. And, no she is not getting a prize in my husband, she is getting spoiled stinking trash and the karma that goes with him!
