I thought I was going nutts, but this N had always been in "ATTACK MODE", I once told him, that he was always in defense mode, and I was afraid I may fart wrong and get attacked! Like seriously.
Sometimes I would make him feel stupid, or appear stupid...not meaning to, but he would attack me for something that had NOTHING to do with him. I would look at him dumbfounded and say " That wasnt about you" , he would in turn say " Yea right!! You are lying"..gessh someone give the KING a biscuit!

When I was with the ex-Psych, I saw those reactions of reacting to my happiness with misery, and reacting to my joy with hate. When I talked to his girlfriend (his future wife), he gave me a look that was darker than a starless night-and abandoned her-in front of everybody.
Once I realized that MY happiness made him miserable, I was as determined to be as HAPPY AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE. Talk about a safe, legal revenge fantasy that can actually be carried out! Doesn't require much plotting or thought either. Nothing elaborate. It's like a DIY project on http://www.hgtv.com
