Sun, if you are still trying to get information - as you say, no matter how indirect - you are not NC yet, and thus YOU make YOUR own life miserable by keeping him so much in your thoughts - while he couldn't care less.
It really doesn't matter how he does. As Susan said before, they will die very lonely and miserable. And however good their life may seem right now, they cannot feel it.
The only thing that matters now is how you do, and that should be in your own hands and the thing to focus on.
I can feel with you, but I have learned during my ongoing healing that any energy focused on revenge or karma wishes is vain and only keeps us connected and them supplied.
I still have a problem frequently in understanding that they are looking like humans, acting like humans, and yet they are as emotional and emphatic as a manikin.

thanks a bunch! Yes, I'm NC. Unfortunately, I live five minutes from where he works, remain a client of the entity he serves and he lives ten minutes from my home. I've lived here longer than he has and am now considering a move. Too many cronies that have "indirect" access to info live nearby. I don't need it.
I've not considered moving as seriously as i am right now, because my children love it here and it's their stability.
But so is my sanity.
If I have to beg to drive my son to school for one more year of high school, I may just be willing to do that to get out of ex's clutches.
