Venting today

Hi Guys,

Just was thinking, yes I really was.

We are an amazing group of women, smart, attractive, successful!
How dare these Assclowns( my favorite ) do this to us!

We are all here everyday for each other, these Narc could give a shit about us! Who needs them?we respect each other here, over cyberspace, the country,& the world, more than the respect the have in their baby toe nail!

Anyone reading this, who had doubts, look how all of us hold each other up, they wouldn't think of or know how to live a respectful beautiful life!

I have never in my life felt

I have never in my life felt so shitty over a man/person. No one should have to feel such pain, when all we did was fall in love. Well did this teach us a lesson, I don't know. Did it make me stronger, Yes! Things happen for a reason and now we have each other. Next time when we are in a relationship we need to think of all of us, How this group respects each other. We even fight like a family ,kiss and make up. Its called real love, being human and having empathy. To all the Narcs out there "FUCK YOU" Thanks Guys Hunter

You are so right! When you stop to think of it this way it really shows how lucky we are even though we've been through HELL with our Narcs. Can you imagine one of our selfish Narcs being on a support site??? They have no idea how lonely their lives really are. I'm so thankful for you and everyone on this site. It's amazing how supportive complete strangers can be to each other. Hugs!!! Sara

More respect

...than they have in their baby toe nail. You are soooooo right. "Assclown" has become my new favourite word, too. New word for me, improving my English on this forum (though my old English teacher might not agree on this one). Changed his name to assclown on my mobile, so I won't pick up by mistake.

I am really alone and

I am really alone and isolated. I haven't lived here long in this county/state- I bounced all over for many years to support ExNH career progression (while screwing my own career over- I will prob never forgive myself for that.) I am so so appreciative for all of you, you are my only support system. To make matters worse, my long term GF's and my family are so desensitized to the Narc drama, I really don't have the support there. They aren't mean to me, they just are burned out on it (guess I took him back 1 too many times and was just asking for it in their eyes.) My mom is encouraging, telling me that I am making a good choice that I can finally see his true colors and she is thankful. But I don't share with anyone like I share with you guys.. Thanks for being my friend guys, I would be lost without you. P.S. Anyone in So. Cali message me for coffee;-)

I have the same situation with the "desensitized friends". I'm sure that mine feel the same way about taking narc back one too many times. At least you were married to your narc and trying to keep the marriage afloat is an honorable thing - but glad that you've jumped ship. I wasn't married to mine - and stayed with him through six rollercoaster years only to be engaged for another 2.5 years before saying ENOUGH! Of course, I was about the ONLY PERSON who actually believed the narc was going to marry me - until I didn't even believe it anymore. I have a couple of friends who have been through similar experiences and are more sympathetic than most. But even they have moved on and I think get impatient with my lack of forward motion. But thankfully, now that I'm finally at the finish line, they are my biggest cheerleaders.

Believe in yourself!

A Beautiful Sentiment Hunter

Funny you just posted this. I was just thinking about how long I have been on here now. Almost a year. I have a year's worth of wisdom, support, kind words, laughter, sadness, anger, the full spectrum of a near complete catharsis of my toxic relationship patterns. What a blessing that I did not have to go through this alone. I had so much recovery and your words in my head that when the Narc came back, basically I d&d him for 12 weeks, by the time he left, I imagine he was withering in amazement over the profound change in me. He actually said: "I don't think my Beffy loves me like she used to." Do ya think? I just could not "play the game" anymore. He kept leaving and coming back, I think in utter shock. He never did that before. Thanks to all of you, I was able to nip it in the bud quickly. He was kicked out after 2 weeks and of course he came back a few times, but it was virtually over before it began. I primarily spent 12 weeks talking about my needs, my wants, my dreams, and my expectations. Whenever he asked me to do anything with which I was uncomfortable, I said NO!! I also spent an entire evening telling him how incredibly disordered he is. He said: "You sound like my Doctor." I did not care, I simply said: "Well someone has to tell you the way it is." Thanks you all, you are the greatest!!! God bless, Goldie

Well said Hunter!

I completely agree with you. I would love to have each of us in a room so I could marvel at the collective strength, beauty, wisdom and compassion of this wonderful group.

*Like*

The times I start to feel sad and upset...I remember how much love and support I have received from the people in my life...I know my exN doesn't have that...and each day I'm SOOOOO thankful that I'm not doomed to live a miserable life like he is nor am mentally & emotionally impaired like he is. I can feel...and while I feel a lot of hurt and frustration and confusion at times over him...AT LEAST I CAN FEEL REAL AND TRUE EMOTIONS!!
