4 weeks NC and he stopped hoovering!

So it will be 4 weeks NC on Wed. He hoovered strong for the first 2 weeks. He even went as far as to invite me to a weekend getaway. I ignored each one. After that invite I haven't heard from him again. It was his bday yesterday and I didn't think to contact him once. He never cared about my bday so why care about his. It's kind of nice not having to watch what I say or wonder what he is doing when I'm not at his house. I've been hitting the gym 5 days a week for 2 hours a day and I feel so much better. More attention needs to be put on my graduate program than on him. My friend's boyfriend said that he is used to this pattern and in his mind he is giving me time to cool off but in no way is he completely gone and to keep my guard up. I plan to do so. Also I found it useful when I start to think of him I remember the shady shit I caught him doing the last time we spoke. I deserve so much more than what he can ever give me!
