moving to another state?

I need to know, would moving be giving up and providing him an ego trip? I love Minnesota and lived here my whole life- but my brother and sister in law just moved to Texas in the last 6 months with my nephew- who is almost 2 (Who I AM IN LOVE WITH)- I just don't know if I can get away from him in any other way. BUT MY WHOLE FAMILY IS HERE- MY LIFE IS HERE AND I DON"T WANT TO GIVE HIM THE SATISFACTION OF LEAVING MY HOME. Thoughts?
