The day I died

114 days ago, I walked towards the light and was rescued. 114 days ago the woman I used to be was murdered and left all alone to die a slow, painful, horrific, death. As I lay bleeding and dying on the floor, you had to kick me, just one more time. You watched me beg and cry for you to help me. You smiled with an evil smirk on your face, as I raised my hands for you to save me, then, as I took my last breath you walked away like you never knew my name.

The day I died was the day I was rescued…..
