to block or unblock is the ???

Is it normal to want to keep blocking & unblocking his number. Parts of me want to see him call and have no answer & then block his # in-case he calls back. As a burn, however parts of me know I should block just so he can hear the Verizon chick say “the Verizon caller you wish to call has call restrictions your call cannot be completed at this time”
Writing that I feel I know my answer, but has anyone else gone thru this?
