Mirror, Mirror on the Wall...
Mirror, Mirror on the Wall...
Who's the sickest of them all?
I have been reading the experiences of all the wonderful and unfortunate people on this forum and am so sad for all of us-- all victim of these sick pathologicals.
On some days, each story seems worse than the next, like individual chapters of some nightmarish fairy tale, yet each chapter is telling the same story from a different perspective.
I am able to relate in some way to each and every one of the stories-- the abuse, the lies, the manipulations, the d&d's.
We have all fallen down and are at various stages of trying to pick ourselves up again. Some have been able to move on, yet will bear the scars for years to come.
So dangerous these N-men, and so difficult to get over them. Remember each and every day that when they look in the mirror, a monster looks back at them. They rely on us to tell them that is not so.
We must leave the Narcissist alone with his mirror, eventually there will be no more supply left for him, he will have lost his youth, his looks, and his virulence.
The monster will be alone and will not be able to bear to see his own worthless, empty image in the mirror.
This is our revenge. To stop feeding him his supply, to leave him alone to face his reality.
