Will I get past this feeling of wanting to verbally break it off?
I'm several days NC, but I still think a ton about what I want to say to him. To put him in his place so to speak.
I know what I've read and also what some of you who have advised - NC means NC. Don't say anything. Silence is best. Saying anything will only be more supply to him. And it won't change anything. Might even make me feel worse.
It's just so hard and unnatural not to communicate something! Even in a tactful, kind and dignified way, which is how I would do it.
Anyone with stories about telling the narc off and or going through a verbal break-up and it backfired or you regretted it, please share!
Or anyone who just went NC and has positive insight, please share!
