Zombie show reminded me of N

My daughter and I have been watching that "Walking Dead" show, and there is a character who owns a farm and he's hiding zombies in his barn including his family members, holding on to the idea that a cure will be found. You can imagine how that turns out.

I know this sounds dopey, but it made me think about Ns -- you expose them and rip the mask off and it takes time but you realize they're not normal humans, they're zombies. They look at you, the OW, their own kids, a total stranger exactly the same way -- only for whether you can give what they feel they need to survive. they won't go away they'll just keep coming at you or at anybody else until you shoot them in the head (go NC). there is no cure coming and they ain't people.

Let's clear those zombies out of our mental barns, ghouls. ;-)
