Yup... he's still tryin'....

When I left 2 months ago I de-friended and/or blocked anyone associated with him.

Now, I open FB and get this:

We weren't that close at all and she is married to his (N's) brother that is much like him (N)...

I ALMOST fell for it and almost answered her back, even typing it out to reply... but then DELETING my reply and moving on! YAY!!

AMEN!! Actually I am crazier than ever, just about different things. I am crazier about this peace I now feel. I am crazier about this new freedom I enjoy. Wow. I am impressed. I get it. It really does come down to doing everything you can. When I left Idaho and went into a bit of "hiding" I let go of a couple of mutual friends, who were truly concerned with my welfare. They were decent people. But they would end up telling me something about HIM, and no doubt, telling HIM something about ME. I had to play it forward in my head. It's very hard to do this. But you have to do what you have to do to protect yourself. At this point, there is no "too much" when it comes to NC.

YAY!!! Keep remembering and keep up the good work... you won't regret it. Yes, it's painful. Painful for me to see his precious moms face in my minds eye tearing up when she knew I was leaving him for good. And believing she's wept because she KNEW why I had to.
