The WORST Movie for Any Woman To Watch Is.....

Pretty Woman. FFS - what a pile of shit that movie really is. Seriously...Richard Gere's character; total narc. And in the end, he magically changes and falls madly for her. Yah, like that happens all the time. *snort* Just keepin' the delusion alive, are we?

If you want to see a good movie with Julia Roberts in it...that has a clue about what a relationship with a narc is really like...watch Sleeping With the Enemy.

You know, I have always hated that movie. Couldnt understand why everyone loved "Pretty Woman", Richard Gere is a total narc in that one. ;) SG

I LIKED "Pretty Woman"!

Admittedly, I saw it a long time ago, but a few cliches and a Happy End are sometimes just what we need! We don`t HAVE to be so cynical! I`ve seen "Sleeping with the Enemy" too, and it terrified me. Particularly the way he moved things around in her house, gaslighting, that really frightened me. Have any of you guys seen "Chicago"? That`s a really great movie for women, I would say, and Richard Gere plays in it too. I can really recommend it! Tigerlily

Hey, Step Brothers had a happy ending...so did Superbad! Pretty Woman was so awful...and by the way, so was Knocked Up...I never saw two more unlikeable leading characters in a movie than that one. I'll check out "Chicago" for sure!

Pretty Woman - The Sequel

Ever wonder why Pretty Woman II never made it to the theaters? It's because she bought his b.s., she gave it all up to move to New York with him, he D&D'd her, she's now a prostitute in Atlantic City. The End.
