What Kind of Therapy Worked Best for You?
After researching for therapists, I have found that there isn't a wealth out there that aid in trauma or grief. I have read about EDMR and hypnotherapy.
My biggest problem at this point, isn't getting over my last N, it is delving deeper to heal old wounds and behaviors that came from accepting emotional abuse as the norm. I have done a lot of self-work in the past 2 years, by reading about emotional blackmail, manipulation and boundary setting, which helped me recognize this last N and get rid of him sooner rather than later. I realized that over the years, I have been putting band-aids on the wounds, instead of treating them so they would heal effectively.
What type of therapy did you find worked for you best and was the most effective?
