Well I took XNBF to court today & I am shaking

After the DD last Xmas, the X was being very cooperative about returning all of my furniture & belongings. I gave him a list of what I wanted back. We were together 2 years & living in my home in the summer, then he got a tropical home for winter. He had packed up a big van with lots of stuff from my house to take to the south & I would come down a few weeks after Xmas. After he left his behavior changed drastically & I called him out. He didn't love me anymore & is trolling on POF. I returned all of his things. However, there was no bed in his convertible when he pulled in my driveway in May. In fact, there was nothing. After thinking about it for a month, I decided to file a civil suit against him for several thousand dollars....the value of my items. After he was served, he began using random numbers to leave messages. "I want to talk to you"...."Won't you talk to me?" I got 5 msgs in a month. I ignored all of them.

So today at court, the judge said that he w/make a decision & let us know in 5 days what the verdict will be. I did tell the judge that I wanted NC w/him & the judge assured me that everything would be done thru the courts.

I begin to leave, and the constable comes out w/me. He wanted to wait w/me until XNBF had left so there was no trouble. We were standing there talking for a few minutes while constable was keepin an eye on him. He gets off his new shiny mc and approaches me. Constable says "You need to leave sir, she said she wants no contact w/you". XB backs up w/his hands in the air like he's about to be shot or something. (It really was comical...like an episode of cops).

A few hours later he sends me a text saying "I had no idea you were still upset. I w/return all of your belongings. And again, I am so sorry".

I conducted myself professionally in court not even bothering to go into what transpired in our r/s or that XB is mental w/a history of abuse. XBF said "I planned to be with her for the rest of my life your honor, but it didn't work out". Right, b/c I cooked too late, didn't watch his tv shows with him & slept past 9 in the morning. Real important r/s issues. I just stated the facts of the claim. When the judge asked me to elaborate on something in detail, I was completely objective about it and showed no emotion at all.

I am upset that he thinks I'm upset & the fact that he keeps apologizing to me. I don't plan on responding to him. I've seen him 2x in the last few months & I've not been upset or haggard when he sees me. Why then is he saying that I'm upset? This really pisses me off. I am trying to get on with my life and once the judge makes his decision, I w/prly not see him & hopefully not hear from him again. And very soon, my houses w/be rented so I won't need to answer numbers that aren't in my contacts.

Why does he keep apologizing & why for shits sake does this irk me so much?
