For your kind words...it is my hope that as we all recover, one way or another, we can share our knowledge...that is the only way we're gonna get the awareness and recognition of the seriousness of NPD. The APA in 2013 will play word salad...in my estimation, this will only serve to confuse others who are afflicted down the road... While some believe, this will be better, as they can treat the disordered better...just because they change the name doesn't mean they're gonna start knocking down doors for treatment...it's the victims that need the APA and by default the mental health professionals to get it and they're in the dark enough as it is...this disorder has been around a long time...if they haven't gotten it at this point, a name change won't do the trick... I don't expect everyone to start a revolution, but the knowledge we have, will go a long way to at least direct someone towards the right path...I remember how lost I was... This forum, was a lifesaver for me...and I will be eternally grateful. Hugs!

Great job!! I thought your explanation of how the N targets a person and what happens afterward was excellent. Even if others are not familar with Ns at all, they will be able to understand as you explained it so clearly. Keep up the good work:)

I made a mistake...the love chemical is oxytocin, not oxycontin...oxycontin is what you need when you come out of an NPD relationship!...LOL Hugs!
