tweaking the ol' narcdar

I'm filing this one under 'Tweaking the Narcdar'.

This will be just another one of many Red Flags I'll watch out for in future relationships. NOTE to self:

If the closest people to the new man look SHELL-SHOCKED...RUN like the WIND!!!!

This has been true about all the Ex-Narcs in my life. Their siblings, though adults, still look like they're being bullied. They're co-workers seem to almost respect (not quite the right word here) them a little too much or give them a wide berth. Their children seem too eager to please them.

Everyone around the Narc is either a little afraid /walking on eggshells or they're FAWNING and too eager to please-laughing a little too loudly at his jokes, etc...

Anyone else notice this PTSD in the making?
