Should I or Shouldn't I...that is the question?

One month ago today my divorce with my ExN was finalized. In our agreement it states that he is to pay me $1,000.00 a month for 45 months. He robbed me blind in our marriage and left me with well over $200,000.00 worth of debt. He was already with OW and was very very anxious to get remarried so he agreed to the $1,000.00 per month payments to go towards debt in order to get the separation agreement and divorce going quickly. As per the signed separation agreement the payments from him were to begin Jan 1, 2013 and of course, I haven't seen a penny. Yesterday I went to my lawyers office to make a payment on all the legal fees and I was asked if I wanted to make another appointment with my lawyer to see what my options are about getting any payments for ExN. So he is now $10,000.00 in arrears and I am wondering, should I even bother to go after him for it? I just don't seem to have the fight left in me anymore, nor the money to do this anymore.
I live in Canada, I don't have a clue where my ExN is living or working. He has always been extremely shady in his working career and I would highly doubt he is employed with a normal company. He does construction, so I think he would just be working under the table for cash. I have already had to pay lawyer bills in excess of $5,000.00 just for the separation agreement, divorce and small claims court case I had because he had me in collections over a credit card. I just honestly do not know what I should do, should I just let it go or should I sink more money into legal fees to try to get him to pay.
Any experience or advice others might have on this would be greatly appreciated.
