removing other toxic relationships

I am a year and a half out of my marriage to the vampire. I'm at the point where I can say his name, see his pictures, see the new supply and feel nothing for him and pity for the new supply. I'm friends with two women who had children with him prior to me and now I am friends with the girl he found right after me. We have all helped each other heal and I am really enjoying those friendships.
With the year and a half of therapy I have had I have ben looking at other relationships in my life. I know that not only have I allowed men to use me but I have had several female friends who are the same way. Right now I am dealing with the rage of a female friend who I tried to quietly back away from however it didn't quite go that way. She lies, uses people, especially men. She ended up unemployed and homeless. I let her stay with me for 2 weeks during which time she cheated on her boyfriend with 3 different men. I was planning a surprise birthday party for her with her boyfriend and she had the nerve to tell me that I wasn't being a very supportive friend. I told her she was being ungrateful and boy did she rage! The texts and comments she made about me and towards me were truly mean. I didn't respond.
Now, she is playing the victim. She is telling everyone how much I hurt her. She is manipulating others for a place to stay. I know that I can't control other people and I'm not wasting my breath trying to explain my actions to anyone. I think people will see her true colors soon enough. I just find it interesting that everything that I learned on how to get over my ex husband is now applying to how to get rid of this toxic friendship.
I'm curious to know if others have also discovered other toxic people in your life during your healing?
