A peaceful Christmas and New Years

I had a peaceful Christmas and New Years. Absolutely no drama. Read a good book, listened to some good music. Did some baking, cooked a ham, cabbage rolls and today the turkey. I bought myself an antique Singer Featherweight sewing machine and didn't feel guilty at all. I love it, I already started sewing a wallhanging.
Parts of me are slowly coming back, I even dug out my dog cookie cutters and dog recipes, going to bake the dogs some cookies. And yesterday when I had to talk about him I called him by his name, not the usual douchebag, lol, progress.
How did everyone else's holidays go?
