A story to share

Took a road trip with some friends to the Poconos yesterday. It was a beautiful day - we did some site seeing and stopped at a couple of the waterfalls in the area. Side bar: Love waterfalls and find the energy from them very calming and therapeutic.
Anyway .... while getting out of the car at one of the parking lots I saw an open Path Forward book lying on the hood of a car. I felt a pang of kinship. I looked around and a woman approached the car. I asked - is this your book? She said yes. I said to her - This book is wonderful. It helped me tremendously. She said she had had 2 narc relationships and was trying to heal. I asked if she had been on these forums. She did not know about it ... and I told her that this forum was my saving grace. I recommended she visit here for support and love.
It was a brief conversation ..... I wanted to hug her and tell her she is not alone .... but didn't want to invade her space. Instead as I was waling away I said - No contact is key !

I have had a few moments of backwards thinking the past month --- and this chance meeting has helped me realize how far I have come and how important it is to stay on the Path to Me.

P.S. I wish I could share a pic of the waterfalls .... very cleansing
