N's and pain

Just a straight forward question - How many of you had N's /know of N's enjoying others experience physical pain?

My ex would love to watch youtube videos of "compilation fails" - where people would be doing an activity etc and would end up being hurt. It was the "happiest" I had ever seen him!

So was just wondering is this a common N trait?
