No contact
No contact
In my situation it is impossible to have no contact. We have 3 children 14, 22, and 24. But this weekend the 14 yr old went on a 3 day trip with her friend and grandparents. I took that as an opportunity to stay no contact. I have not answered any calls from him or "wthheld numbers"(suspicous that it is him) Friday there were 4 wihheld calls and 2 from him. Saturday there were at least 5 calls and voicemails. Today there were at least 4 and it is barely 9am. Reasons for calls ranged from demanding to know what we are going to do about the house, chiding me fornot answereing, asking what he could have possibly done wrong, questioning if I recv'd. the support check, worried about the 14 yr old because he saw a tornado warning 100 mile from where she is, telling me to text him, etc. He alsmost got me wth the tornado but I called my friend and she talked me down.
I have to say that it feels good to just not have to interact with him but this is just a temporary peace. Monday the insanity comes back. With the 14 yr old comes daily contact he will be coming out to the car and if I don't take the calls he will call the 14 yr old and she will be dragged into it. For now, for today I will enjoy my peace.
