Narc's fascination with evil....

Did anyone else's N's have a weird fascination with evil people or things??

For instance, my exN had a weird thing for Hitler! He actually said that Hitler was justified in being responsible for over 14 million deaths! Said that it was the Jew's fault! I was mortified when he said that. I tried to tell him that Hitler was insane but he didn't believe me! Even after I googled Hitler have psychological problems due to syphilis, he still didn't believe it. That was the point that I knew something was extremely wrong with this person.

I believe that my exN is Satan's Spawn!

Xnh was fascinated with

Xnh was fascinated with anything to do with the military. The bloodier and more violent the better. He loved violent military movies, and any books he happened to read are military novels. He'd been in the military for over 10 years, and even though he'd never served out of the country (he was an electronics tech in an office), he fancied himself as a great fighting machine. Several years ago, xnh found out that a friend of his family was doing covert, very dangerous missions (which of course the guy refused to discuss with xnh because they were classified). You'd have thought xnh was in love with the guy, following him around with his eyes shining all bright, and talking endlessly about HIS own military experience as a tech. You'd have thought xnh was a groupie. It was sickening to watch, and obviously very annoying to the poor guy. Xnh very much had an fascination with the "dark side".

Mine loved to watch shows

Mine loved to watch shows like America's Funniest Home videos. But wasn't interested in the cute things kids or dogs did, etc. He liked the clips where people fell down, crashed on a bicycle, etc. I didn't think about it so much at the time, but he seemed to ENJOY seeing people get hurt. Wow, how messed up is that?

N likes to watch

N likes to watch documentaries about World War II but no, he was not fascinated by Hitler. He loves horror movies though and has some very... uhm.... creepy CD's .

Yea, mine loved horror movies too!!! Funny how I hate Satanic movies like the Exorcist and Paranormal Activity, but yet I stayed with Satan himself for way too long! lol

My ex used to make jokes about being a sociopath or psychopath. I dont know if it was meant to scare me or if its because he actually knows he lacks empathy for other people.
