narc song lyrics

I like Lisa's music feature, but I have been thinking about narc-related songs lately and I came up with a few of my own (I mostly listen to classic rock and country, so maybe these will help you out if you're an old-school radio listener like me). The beautiful thing about music is that it always feels so good to hear someone sing exactly what you're feeling.

I have always loved the song Amie by Pure Prairie League, but I was really listening to the lyrics this morning and I realized what a total narc song it is. He couldn't have said it better himself...

Everytime I hear Life in the Fast lane by the Eagles I think of my relationship with ex-narc. In fact, I used to think that when we were still together. Probably not a good sign.
