my ex n said they had been in abusive relationship

when we first met the ex n said they had been in an abusive relationship .. now saying they were suffering with PTSD. So I showed them some of the N speak interpretations of what N say from this site.... and asked if any of that resonated... no nothing didnt mean anything to them..... interesting cos I read it and I know what it means and I recognise it. xx
