It's true. They really don't change.

XN and I have been split up for a year. We have a lot of mutual friends and acquintances so I get to hear the scoop. It used to bother me, but I'm indifferent to it now.

Anyhoo, he hooked up with NS in February and moved into her house right away while his is on the market. At first, I was super jealous because he was doing the stuff with her that he promised me we'd do, but never did. But, I stuck around this place, read read and read some more, started therapy, and moved on with my life.

Well, it has only been 6 months for XN and NS. My daughter still works for him and told me he's been spending more time on the job. I've heard from a friend and an acquintance that XN is getting highly irritable with customers and employees again, like he used to before our relationshit ended.

It took XN 2 years for the mask to start slipping when with me. I knew it would be a shorter time frame with NS because they drink A LOT(he rarely ever drank when with me) and she has four young children that are enrolled in all sorts of activities (demanding of time and resources). NS is in for one helluva ride.

So folks, just more proof that we're not kidding or sugarcoating when we say the Ns do not change once they've moved on to someone else. The time frame doesn't matter. The final outcome is what's important: Ns DO NOT CHANGE.
