I wish I had seen this site earlier....

I read these posts, and I weep. The dates of the posts are written BEFORE my N came back to me after 10 years! If I had seen this site then, and noticed the step by step behavior that he exhibited, I would not have taken him back, and ended up back where I started ten years ago. What's intriguing is that I came up with NC on my own. After his D&D, I decided to no longer communicate with him. After 14 mos., I (before seeing this site) sent an email to everyone in my address book including him to inform them that I had a book that's in stores now, an ebook business online (I provided link to website.), and I published an article. It was a group email, but I admit that I wanted him to see how successful I am since his d&d. He did look at my website, the analytics showed that. I just want to know how badly I screwed up. I have not contacted him again, and that email wasn't personal in any way. I appreciate your feedback.
