I heard something today that
puts it all into perspective. A long standing customer at my place of work, told me such a heart wrenching story, that had me in floods of tears. His daughter, who is 28 years old, had been in a horrific car accident, an is now paralysed from the neck down, she has 2 small children 6 and 3 years old. Her parents (in their 70's and frail themselves) have moved her and the children back in with them, as her husband, WALKED OUT on her because of her injuries. I can hardly type this it is so awful. That poor girl not only will she not walk, write, interact physically with her children, swim, drive, or even go to the bathroom on her own ever again, and HE walked out, gone, couldnt fucking cope.
So, today, no more pining and whining about how flippin crap my life is, thats it finished. What the hell have i got to be miserable about? I can do all those things that that poor poor woman will NEVER do again. Yes i went through hell, but my god not nearly the hell that she has and will do forever.
I WILL be grateful that i have my health, sod the bloody narcs, they are small fry in the bigger picture.
Rant over, sorry guys, but jeez it makes you realise what is important
