I can't give you what you want
I can't give you what you want
I heard that so many times. I actually googled the term today and found an article on one of my favourite sites saying when you hear those words "run, run, run". Some men will say it, but stick around, and if you accept that, they assume you understand it's on their terms.
I stuck around, I tried to end it, and he came back several times (but without declaring any feeling/emotion for me). More fool me.
I spent some time today reading his emails, I know all the times when I asked him what was going on and he said "I can't give you what you want", and he ended it. But we always got back together, with me feeling frustrated soon after.
Is that usual, I'm still not sure if he was a narc or not. He met some traits, but surely saying those words is a bit too honest?
I'm sorry for flooding and starting so many topics, I'm still in shock and trying to decipher it all.
