Hoovering Over Us

A few days ago I told my N husband that he would need to move out by the end of the month. I could no longer live with decisions he's made and now he needs to go (since the house is in my name).

Since then he has cried me a river, said many things I have wanted to hear, done many things (such as help with the children, help with household chores, offer to get things for me, etc.).

How many of you out there have experience with hoovering? Need support and insight. Most of my responses to his "help" (aka hoovering) have been "thank you" and then I go about my business...
