By holding on to the pain we hold on to the person

Someone said that to me today and it really hit home. I am done with my N, all ties have been cut, avenues of communication blocked, it is history. But some days I can still get so sad, so wistful for what I thought we had. I have to let her go but letting go of the fantasy remains a struggle. And focusing on missing her keeps me bound to her - I realize that now.

More work ahead! Roll up your sleeves Trixy. :-)
