Have you seen this story?! AZ Guru?

http://www.charter.net/news/read.php?id=15955316&ps=1011&srce=news_class...

I read this and froze. This "guru" in Arizona, accused of having a "god-like complex" is responsible for deaths at his retreat. I am wondering if this is "April"'s exN...the successful "spiritual leader."

I noticed that this guy, in his remarks, managed to make it all about himself, not the victims, who are DEAD...and received a standing ovation for being such a great guy. If that ain't a narc I don't know what is.

creepy!

http://www.lisaescott.com/forum/2009/07/28/narcissistic-delusional-guru Sounds like that. Also sounds like a sociopath. Remember all Narcs are NOT Socio/Psychopaths but ALL Socio/Psychopaths are also Narcs. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Pathologicals only discard the best, most precious of gems of people... not the worst. His comments are not only

His comments are not only all about him, but you can see the lack of empathy when asked about his next seminar. Making an excuse as to why he would let it run instead of canceling because of the grief a normal person would feel if a few of their students had just DIED. For the Narc, the show must go on!

All makes sense when you put it like that

2 days before I was discarded my N sent me a NOVEL in a txt message with a subject header 'Wake Up To Yourself- NOW.' The context and word formation was all consistent with as you explain it 4joys. It was numbered in sequence to itemise ALL of MY flaws, inadequacies, problems, negative traits, insecurities, etc. etc. Then the (24 msg's) long cell-phone text kind of ended on a note where he more or less issues me a challenge; to pick up my act. So ridiculous! Can you imagine his disdain when I waited over 24 hrs to reply in short; "Interesting. No error by you then?". I didnt 'get it ' at the time. But I really do now. My tardy response must have made him fume Ha!~ I referenced the long-winded text messages and also his internet dependancy (msn and Facebook) to him as 'Chat Courage'. And pathetic! Showbag! My N was a Showbag. All image on show for the outside.. And full of Shit on the inside. I'm really starting to see clearly now. Thanks All. looks like the party's over

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/33352081/ns/us_news-life though I suspect he's such a predator he will come up with some "new incarnation" to bilk people out of money They always do. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Pathologicals only discard the best, most precious of gems of people... not the worst. I hope he gets sued, and the

I hope he gets sued, and the victims' families are able to "create wealth" with James Arthur Ray's money. His attitude is unbelievable...sheds some crocodile tears in front of his next seminar, but I guess that's the last he'll think of the people he has essentially killed...from that article you posted, Barbara: No plans to slow down Linda Jackson of Brentwood, Calif., already is looking forward to an event Ray has scheduled in the San Francisco Bay area later this year. The 59-year-old says Ray has a rare gift that coupled with charisma, power and a "walk the talk" attitude only helps mankind. Only God knows whether the recent tragedy will help or hurt Ray, she said. "Maybe it was necessary because he has to be cautious about something." Ray has no plans to slow down, said his spokesman, Howard Bragman. He'll continue conducting seminars and be a leader, educator and mentor to the thousands who seek his help. "One of his messages is about dealing with adversity," he said. "He's very clear and his team is very clear that we're going to continue his important work." Lovely that one of his followers thinks maybe it was "necessary" for Ray's personal development. I'm sure the families appreciate that. That last quote says EVERYTHING about the world of a narcissist...this is about dealing with adversity?? Like this is something that happened TO him, instead of something he DID? Like despite HIS adversity he's not slowing down? Well, I guess his victims will be slowing down, since they're DEAD. But that shouldn't slow down his important work, no sirree. I mean, Jim Jones had a lot of adversity too, I suppose.
