Going to the holiday party...BY MYSELF!!!!!

Tonite is the night of my work's holiday party that I initially was going to miss and stay home having a pity party instead. With all of YOUR encouragement....Im going...I have a nice outfit to wear and Im getting ready.....

I unfortunately cant seem to stop going to the bathroom (if you know what I mean) This is how my body reacts to stress...ugh!!!!

Very nervous about being alone...I havent gone anywhere alone in over 25 years!!

Im going....walking tall....IM NOT CRIPPLED BY HIM ANY MORE!!!!

And tell us how it went! We had our company party yesterday and I was sad and in pain all day, being reminded of last year's party with the narc. Even though I have friends here at my new company I wasn't in a social mood. I feel wounded from this whole year and my motivation to meet new people was close to zero. But I went anyway and in the end I was having a good time... talking and laughing and rediscovering the person I used to be. I hope you have a nice time, too! :)
