Found good therapist in Bay Aea

At one point Barbara had requested and was keeping a list of therapists who "got it" and requested if we found a good one in our area to post the info. I am not sure if anyone is still doing this, but I have read several posters who are from the "Bay Area" and I just found a great counselor in Walnut Creek who was married to a narcissist and totally gets it. She is in the process of writing a book on avoiding narcissists and sociopaths as well. You can google her name and read more about her. Unfortunately, she does not accept insurance.

The appointment I had was @ 4. Nobody was there when I got out....I'm sure she thinks I'm a total nut! As the clock started ticking towards 5, I kept talking faster and faster trying to get my story out! :) I didn't know you lived in the Bay Area!

Thank you, thank you, for posting this! There have been a couple of therapists that I have talked to. One was lovely, but she didn't get it. I will call this woman immediately.

I'm so glad this may help. If you read her blog on line she really does get it. I got her name and info from my lawyer, who has dealt with many narcissists and is well versed and prepared for the stuff he may pull, and she won't let him! I am finally moving on and it feels great!!
