ex N would always stare at caucasian women

Ok so 3 months into our 3 yr relation i noticed he had a wandering eye and the eyes always seemed to be directed toward certain types of women(caucasian)it was extremely annoying and disrepectful in my opinion (we are both african american)I spoke to him and said Listen if thats what your attracted to you need to go find your happiness and leave me alone, his reply was " well my ex would always say that too, maybe its something im doing wrong"

After he said that i immediately recalled a messg i had accidentally came accross from his ex 2 months prior, she stated how she wished there were black girls at the club the night they met(assuming he would have approached them instead of her i guess)...i feel like im rambling so let me get to the POINT!

his ex was a caucasian woman and appearently he had an eye for black women while with her. Im black and he pulled that same crap on me just in reverse.

Was this some type of controling mind(f.u.ck)game he played on us to cause us to feel insecure/worthless?
