embarrassing and real

So guys, I am really embarassed with what I am going to put on line and I am going to put it out there to get a sense of how deep the psychological trauma is going and gain support and maybe see if any you have any insight, but this is deeply embarrassing.

Okay, so last night, I had a dream and in my dream I was peeing and I remember this from the dream -- I was peeing with such force -- the pee was so powerful and it was as if I was peeing to prove my strength -- it was so strange -- and yes this is true. Guess what? This lead to actual bedwetting ! Yes, a 40 year old professional who people seem to respect who is well educated and who had a life before I met my daughter's father, bedwet last night! Is this PTSD? Can PTST cause this to happen? What is happening to me? Does anyone have any knowledge or experience or thoughts on this, but I am freaking out ! Now the other thing is, I am also potty training my daughter so maybe there is something psychological going on there -- I don't know, but I peed on myself in my sleep and I am freaking out.

Don't Fret Yet

Agnes and Barbara give great advice - mention to doctor next time you see her, but personally I doubt it will happen again, just a one time accident I'm betting. Even at 40, these things happen!

Don't Be Quick to Decide it is Psychological

If an adult wets the bed in their sleep, sometimes it is because you had too much liquids before falling asleep and didn't realize it. Sometimes when we don't wake up and we need to go 'pee' etc...we will dream of water, waterfalls, rivers, lakes, the ocean...or even dream that we are actually 'peeing', so when your subconcious cannot wake you up by sending these dream 'clues'...then you just might actually wet the bed as last resort...so to speak :-) ...THAT will certainly wake you up!!! HAHA...Oop's! ...another thing that is physical that COULD cause this is having a possible bladder or kidney infection that you don't recognize or have any real/vague symptoms of. I think we women who are involved with pathologicals/Narcissists/etc...are trained by them to be too quick to think everything that happens is 'something in our heads' or that there is 'something wrong with us'or we are psychological messes (which is NOT true, we are often much stronger than we think)...the simplest reason is usually the right one. Don't have too much to drink before bed (especially tea...that always makes me wake up to go 'tinkle' at night)...and if within the week you start to have symptoms/or even if you don't, it may be worth a little trip to your Dr. to make sure you don't have a little bladder infection, as we women can have these things without symptoms we would recognize too. And be sure NOT to come up with all sorts of psychological explanations to offer him...it just may confuse everything and mask a actual physical problem. PS: Also, when we have had babies...our bladders can leak a bit, especially when we laugh...or are asleep. Don't be embarrassed! You had a feeling of being Powerful when you dreamt of peeing? HEEHEE...you obviously had a powerful urge to go peepee, but you were too sound asleep to be aware of it...so your body did what it had to do... xo

Funny !

But, I didn't drink much last night at all and I went to the bathroom before I went to bed as I always do. I don't think I could have a bladder infection -- haven't had much action to get one ; ) We'll see what happens. Boy oh boy, what a wierd thing though - huh? I just can't get over it. And it was a powerful. I remember the dream -- it was so so forceful -- and I remember saying to whoever was there -- listen to the force of this !!!

Deal

Thought that might have been the case particularly with the fact that I was peeing for power in my dream ... so odd. I did just call my mother to see if I had a bedwetting problem when I was a kid and she said no ... just very interesting.

Stress

I think you've been under a lot of stress lately. The court appearance. Then talking to or e-mailing him the week in the aftermath. Then the hoopla over the 11 p.m. arrival time. The dickering about who pays for the tickets. Maybe you are exhausted & fell very soundly asleep, needed to urinate & had a very intense dream about that. And, it happened. I know I have had dreams about needing to urinate & almost have wetted the bed but woke up at the last minute. Call your doctor if it makes you feel better. I know I would be exhausted taking care of a 2 year old & having to deal with that lunatic you describe. At this point, for me, even the mere thought of having to deal with my N upsets me to no end. And, my only contact is via my divorce attorney.

LMAO,,,,,,,,,,,What power you have!!!!!!!!!You go girl. Keep dreaming. Will give you MORE power to get rid of him forever.

I just got involved with the same N for the second time.
What was I thinking? Because I have put myself back to the same point where I am blaming myself again. And for what?
I want to get rid of these feelings again.
