Having done a lot of research and bought your e-mail book everything made sense

I had actually written a short story about my relationship with my ex-partner. I was searching for an explanation and then I stumbled upon your book 'surviving a narcissist -a path forward and everything fell in to place the abuse emotional mental and physical the hot and cold, the rollercoaster ride etc. etc. I had a gut feeling something was very wrong and became insecure. I was reeled out and reeled in again the narcisstic rage was unbelievable. I have recently lost my mother followed by a bad car accident instead of compassion he wanted to finish the relationship. Two days later he wanted to take me out and he was back to his loving charming self However a week later he got angry over a silly thing and told me the relationship was over for good. I contacted him two days later for closure and he tried to blame everything on my insecurities although he did say he felt shame for hitting me and was I quote 'sorry for how he was' Maybe stupidly I forgave him and even took some responsibility. what is concerning me is that he said he was leaving me to be alone. He does flirt alot and always preferred self pleasure could this maybe be enough for him He said he had'nt had a relationship for 15yrs before he met me am I being very niave?
